A team of volunteers make sure that our church is decorated with beautiful floral displays. The team refresh the flowers weekly and also put together magnificent displays for weddings, Harvest Festival, Easter and Christmas. New volunteers are always welcome. Would you would like to 'sponsor' the flowers, making a donation to cover the cost of buying them? You might wish to celebrate an anniversary or special birthday, or perhaps commemorate someone at a significant time. Donations are welcomed although we need to be flexible as we do not have flowers in church during Advent or Lent. Please speak to Julie Smethurst for more details. |

Ricky Ringers practise every Tuesday from 8 to 10pm in Room 1 in the Church Centre. If you’d like to become a handbell ringer, all you need is a sense of rhythm! As well as weekly rehearsals, Ricky Ringers carry out performances for various groups within the community. Ricky Ringers charge around £30 for an hour which includes a demonstration, performances and the chance for you to have a go too! [St Mary's Tower houses a peal of ten bells.] |

All visitors to the church are welcome to use our library at the back of the church. Our collection includes work on Biblical studies, church life and history, prayer and devotional life, theology, worship and liturgy, plus general topics. There’s no charge and no time limit on keeping books – but we would like them back! All we ask is that you record your details in our register if you borrow a book. |

The monthly magazine for St Mary’s is called LINK. It contains information on services, useful contact names and numbers, the month’s calendar of events, Bible readings, information on local groups and activities, plus submitted reports and articles. It is compiled and edited by a team. You can pick up a copy from the shelves by the north door at the back of church. Or, if you would like to go onto the distribution list to have it delivered, please contact the Parish Secretary on 01923 721002. |
Articles may be submitted by email or on paper. |
