We try and support members of the congregation in many ways. One of these is through friendship and companionship. Our Befrienders may help with small tasks, with the odd errand or just pop in for a cup of tea and a chat.
If you'd like to know more about this scheme, including how to volunteer, please speak to Shirley Lupton (775329).
We pray for members of our congregation by name every day.
The names of the congregation are held in a Prayer Diary and are split into groups of households. Network visitors each look after several households that they contact before they are due to appear on the Prayer Diary.
Those who are being held in prayer are offered the opportunity to contact the network visitor should they have a situation they would like to be mentioned in prayer.
The aim of the St Mary’s Network is to increase a sense of belonging and of caring one for another at St Mary’s.
In addition, each week we pray for all those living in a street or group of streets in the Parish.
For more information about St Mary’s Parish Network please contact John & Suzanne Hill on 01923 772809.
