Children's Church on Sunday Mornings

Children's Church is for all children from 3 to 12. We meet each week except on the first Sunday of the month which is the Family Service.

We begin each session in the main hall of the Church Centre for prayer, bible story and song, then we split into age groups:

  • Sunbeams (3-5 years) meet upstairs in the Church Centre. They enjoy simple stories which help them understand who Jesus was, take part in prayers, sing songs and enjoy games and crafts. They join their parents in church at the end of the service.

  • Junior Church (5+ years) stay in the main hall. The children follow a structured programme to help them gain an understanding and a familiarity with the stories and Testaments of the Bible through song, stories, games and art. They join their parents in church for a blessing or to receive communion.
