Booking the Church
St Mary's Church is a place for the worship of God and quiet reflection. As a service to the community as a whole, the building is also let to groups whose aims are to further the enjoyment of the arts.
The Church is a sacred building and we ask that all users treat it with respect. Furniture or other objects should only be moved with the permission of the Vicar or other church officer and must be replaced neatly at the end of the booking.
There is a charge of £20 per hour for lettings to cover some of the costs incurred including cleaning, lighting, heating etc. This charge is levied for the total duration of the booking including time for setting up, rehearsals, performance and clearing up.
