Annual Parochial Church Meeting 2009
The Annual Parochial Church Meeting (the AGM for the Anglicans at St Mary's) was held at the end of April.
Buzz Coster and John Hill were re-elected Churchwardens, welcoming John Glidden to the team in place of Colin Bayley who stood down after four years in office. Many thanks to Colin, particularly because he only intended to serve for a couple of years in the first place!
Representatives were elected to the United Church Council. The Methodist representatives will be elected at their annual meeting on 10th May.
As well as approving the accounts and receiving a number of reports, the Revd Deborah Snowball presented a review of the year.
A key theme in Deborah's report was her expression of thanks to everyone in the congregation who contributes to the running of our church.
