Lenten Study / Housegroups

Some people think that vocation is just for certain people but God calls us all to live our lives shaped and directed by his call. The Book, Life Calling explores the meaning of vocation for everyone.

Groups will meet at the following times:

  • Monday - 7.45pm

  • Tuesday - 10.30am

  • Wednesday - 10.30am & 7.45pm

  • Friday - 3.30pm

  • Saturday - 3.30pm

The themes of the weeks are:

  • Called by God

  • Called from within

  • Called out

  • Called up

  • Called on

It is an exciting theme, and one that wehope will nurture and re-invigorate us all. Look out for the ‘sign-up’ sheets in church.

Lent Appeal 2009

We want to buy clean, safe water again. Water is essential for maintaining life, particularly in countries of persistent drought.

During Lent we will be collecting money to buy taps through WaterAid:

£36 will buy a tap to provide water for 50 people

£750 will provide enough safe water for 1,000 people

£400 will help to find a well

Simply collect a container from Church, fill it with coins and tip it into the bucket in Church each Sunday morning.
