On Sunday 31st May we bid farewell to Mary Kingsley as she prepares for her ordination as Deacon at St Albans Abbey on 5th July.
Mary has been a member of our congregation for approximately 30 years getting involved in every aspect of church life including bellringer, PCC member and school governor. The good news is that she's not going far - only up the hill to All Saints, Croxley Green where she will serve as Deacon.
We presented Mary with her stole, the inspiration for which was based on a design created from Victorian glass collected from Poole Harbour. The stole was made by two members of our congregation, Beryl Baker and Julie Smethurst.
We wish you every blessing, Mary, in your ministry.
