Posada ~ St Mary’s Travelling Crib, coming to a house near you!
Our Travelling Crib starts its journey round the Parish on Advent Sunday. Please sign up to take part in this annual Advent activity. The crib is taken from house to house each day where greeting, prayer and hospitality are shared.

Praying with... A series of evenings for Advent
Advent, as we know, is a season oft rushed through in the race to be prepared for Christmas – practically rather than spiritually, alas! So, for some space in the ‘run up’ to the great celebrations – take some time to pause on these evenings through Advent.
Each evening will begin with a simple time of prayer, include a reflection on the theme for the week and a time for quiet prayer and contemplation, concluding with Compline (Night Prayer). The evenings will finish by 9pm.
- Tuesday 30th November: Praying with... The Patriarchs
- Tuesday 7th December: Praying with... The Prophets
- Tuesday 14th December: Praying with... John the Baptist
- Tuesday 21st December: Praying with... Mary
To be held in Church: 7.45-8.45pm
Living God's Love
As well as the 'Praying with...' evenings that are taking place through Advent, we are each being encouraged to take time to reflect on our relationship with one another, the world, and God, through daily Bible readings and reflections provided by our Diocese. This is the beginning of the journey of Living God's Love - an initiative in which we are all invited to take part.
