Visit to the Rickmansworth Deanery by Bishop Alan

The new Bishop of St Albans, the Rt Revd Dr Alan Smith spent Tuesday 2nd February in the Deanery of Rickmansworth. We were delighted to welcome not only the Bishop but also members of other churches in the Deanery for a service of Holy Communion to celebrate the Presentation of Christ in the Temple (Candlemas). It was good to see a packed church for the service which was followed by an informal meeting of Deanery Synod and the opportunity to ask questions of the new(-ish) Bishop.
