  • Do something to make a difference

Visit the Challenge 2010 website for more information.

Lent Appeal 2010

Last year we raised £1,868 during Lent for WaterAid. Thank you for your generosity in supporting this appeal.

We want to buy clean, safe water again and will be collecting money through Lent to buy watery gifts:

  • £25 will buy tools to dig a well

  • £60 will buy a rope pump

  • £284 will build a hand dug well and hand pump

  • £595 will pay for a rainwater harvesting tank

Water is essential for maintaining life, particularly in countries of persistent drought.

Simply collect a container from Church, fill it with coins and tip it into the bucket in Church each Sunday morning.
