Annual Parochial Church Meeting and Methodist Annual General Meeting 2011
The Annual Parochial Church Meeting (the AGM for the Anglicans at St Mary's) was held at the end of April.
John Glidden, Barbara Paterson and Roger Willett were elected to serve as Churchwardens. Thanks were expressed to Buzz Coster who stood down after seven years in office.
Derek Day and Julie Smethurst were elected to serve as Methodist Stewards. Thanks were expressed to Christine Butler who had served as a Steward for many years.
Representatives from both denominations were elected to the United Church Council.
As well as approving the accounts and receiving a number of reports, the Revd Deborah Snowball presented a review of the year.
