We’re delighted to be hosting some of the local celebrations to mark the 80th anniversary of VE Day on Thursday 8 May 2025.
The bells of St Mary’s will be ringing out from 6.30pm.
Other events will start in the Church Centre from 8.15pm with:
- Light refreshments
- Phoenix Morris
- Displays by Three Rivers Museum and the Rickmansworth Historical Society
At 9.25pm we will gather at the War Memorial in the churchyard for the Nation’s Tribute and lighting of the beacon by Patrick Moriarty DL.
The evening culminates in the singing of I Vow To Thee My Country.
