We're holding a Welcome Day on Saturday 17 May 2025

On Saturday 17 May 2025 we would like to welcome you to the church, churchyard and tower of St Mary’s Church.

Our popular café, the Parish Pantry, will be serving refreshments all day and you will have the opportunity to explore the grounds and buildings including climbing the 17th century tower for spectacular views of Rickmansworth.

No need to book and admission is free. Come along – you will be most welcome!

Our regular café, the Parish Pantry, is extending its hours today. As well as the usual luscious spread of homemade cakes, they’ll be serving bacon butties and other lunchtime treats.

Lots of choice of home-grown vegetables and colourful plants

We hold regular sales of books – come along, browse and discover something new

Climb the steep steps through the ringing chamber to see the clock mechanism and bells; enjoy the wonderful views over Rickmansworth and the Chess Valley.

There has been a church on this site for more than 750 years and the tower is 395 years old. Inside the tower you will sense its history.

(Suitable for children over 8 years accompanied by an adult)

A great opportunity to see how the bells are rung.

(Speak to a bellringer on the day for more information and tickets)

An opportunity to have a close look at the pennants created by local needleworkers to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Three Rivers District Council.
