At 11.15am on Sunday 26 April 2026 we are holding our annual meetings in the Church Centre to:
- elect churchwardens
- elect members of the Parochial Church Council
- appoint an Independent Examiner
- receive
- a report on changes in the roll since the last Annual Parochial Church Meeting
- a report of the proceedings of the Parochial Church Council and the activities of the parish generally
- the financial statements of the Council for the year ending on 31 December 2025
- a report on the fabric, goods and ornaments of the church
- a report on the proceedings of the Deanery Synod
- and other matters of parochial or general interest
Everyone is welcome to attend these meetings. However, in order to vote and/or serve as a churchwarden or member of the PCC, you must be on the electoral roll of the parish.
Elections
This year, nominations are sought for churchwardens, Deanery Synod representatives and members of the Parochial Church Council.

Please be aware that anyone putting themselves forward as a PCC member, Church Warden or for a Deanery or Diocesan Synod position must, if elected, be willing to undertake safer recruitment processes including the completion of a Confidential Declaration form and an enhanced DBS check.
They will also need to undertake the relevant safeguarding training. This means completing two safeguarding training modules as a minimum:
- Basic Awareness
- Foundations – renewal every three years
Appropriate checks will be carried out after the elections and confirmation of the appointment will only take place after the DBS check has been completed and is satisfactory and after all the required safeguarding training is completed.

If you wish to be able to vote at our annual meeting or stand in any of the elections, please complete the form and return it to the Church Office no later than 8 April 2026.
