Maxine Platzman RIP
It is with much sadness that we announce the recent death of Maxine at the end of January.
Maxine worshipped at St Mary’s for many years, initially bringing her father to church. She served on the PCC where we were glad of her legal expertise and sound judgment. She contributed to church life in other ways including helping to run the Sunday Lunch Club, despite battling against illness for several years.
Maxine will be buried at Woodcock Hill Cemetery at 10.45am on Wednesday 11 March. There will be a service to celebrate her life in church at 11.30am, followed by refreshments in the Church Centre.
