Sunday 8 November

Remembrance Sunday Service at 2.30pm

We gather at the war memorial in the churchyard as a community to remember all who have fallen in conflict.

The service is preceded by the Remembrance Sunday Parade which sets off from Our Lady, Help of Christians, the Roman Catholic Church, at 2.00pm. Members of local community and uniformed organisations will be taking part.

After the service local organisations and individuals are invited to lay their poppy wreaths.

All are welcome to attend, whatever their age or faith.

[Note: this service is held outside so please wear warm clothes]

Wednesday 11 November

Armistice Day Service at 10.45am

At this short service we remember those who have fallen and whose names are recorded on the war memorial in the churchyard and books of remembrance in church.

Lest We Forget

On Sunday 1 November (3.00pm) we will be presenting a programme of prose, poetry and music in a broad span of time reflecting loss and grief.

The event is being organised and led by Julie Smethurst, along with members of the Smethurst family and other friends.
